
concept: “regenerated” that turns fabric scraps into luxury garments and incorporate it into her collections. To her, the process is poetic: “Searching in the garbage of the world for the treasures that remain.” Some might call it “up-cycling,” the environmental term du jour for turning one woman’s trash into another woman’s treasure.
I saw this video a few weeks ago and this is the main reason that I choose her once again.
During the stage 1 I also use her work as my case study reference. Then at 13.Nov, on our research trip, I also saw her products being sold in stores- Browns. She is the designer who I know more recently and at the same time, as the same specialism and new generation, I feel that she is worthy be my reference and I could learning from her.
